NI competition winner revealed!

Posted on: Tuesday 31st of July 2018

Resolution_competition_winner_2018Announcing the winner of the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 smart keyboard controller and Komplete 11 Ultimate sound collection, as featured on p57 of our online-only April edition, Resolution V17.D!

We asked readers to send us a sentence on ‘what features interest you the most’. We had dozens of entries – thanks to everyone who participated! But it was Andrew Ward of Dorset who bagged the £1,500 bundle with ‘The features which interest me most are the system of tagged presets and the fact that you can find and edit them, incorporate them into an idea and never have to leave the Komplete Kontrol keyboard: brilliant!’

Andrew is shown here with the booty. The musician told us: “When I was told I’d won the Resolution prize of a Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 with Komplete Ultimate 11, I had to check that it wasn’t a wind-up or April 1st!

“As an amateur who had specifically targeted 2018 as the year to ‘up my game’ and try to become more professional, it’s hard to describe just what a boost this is, giving me so much more in terms of quality instruments, effects and production tools – and to access the whole suite via the latest Komplete Kontrol and NKS [Native Kontrol Standard], too: thank you Resolution and NI!”

Since 2017, Native Instruments has partnered with over 50 companies to bring 500+ plug-ins with standardised hardware mapping to its NKS platform/controllers, such as the S61.

Komplete Ultimate 11 features 87 products, 18,000 sounds and 500GB of instruments and effects.
